Edina Gresz, Faithful volunteer Moves East

After serving for over 4 years with The Hope Center, Mrs. Edina Gresz is embarking on a new chapter in her life. Edina's had a 32 year career as a CRU missionary, which began in her homeland of Hungary, where she first felt the call to serve youth through this renowned organization. Even after relocating to the United States in 2016, Edina remained steadfast in her commitment to empowering young lives.

It was at a CRU conference where Edina crossed paths with Marvin and Angie Daniels, an encounter that would shape her volunteer work in the years to come. In December 2019, she took on a weekly volunteering role alongside a fellow CRU colleague, immersing herself in the joyous atmosphere of the Hope Center. For Edina, the most rewarding aspect of her volunteer work was witnessing the transformation in the children who found solace and love within the center's walls.

Reflecting on her time with CRU, Edina emphasizes the significance of the organization's Christ-centered approach, where every aspect of ministry revolves around faith, community, and love. As she and her husband relocate to Allentown, PA, Edina looks forward to the opportunity to be closer to her family in Hungary.

To potential volunteers, Edina offers a heartfelt encouragement to take the leap and experience the double blessing of serving others and being blessed in return. She believes that volunteering at CRU is not just about meeting a need but also about being the hands and feet of Jesus for the community.

As Edina embarks on her new adventures, The Hope Center expresses gratitude for her unwavering dedication and infectious smile. We sent her off with warm wishes, knowing that her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire others for years to come.
